Build a Popsicle

Objective: Have fun this summer making a string a colorful popsicle art with your kindergartener. 

Materials:

Paper – Assorted Colors

Popsicle stick – or a stick outside

Glue

String – ( fishing line, yarn, or dental floss)

Optional – (Glitter, pulp balls, pipe cleaners, crayons and markers)

Instruction: 

Attention Grabber: “Today we are going to make a magical world for summer. We are going to make a string of popsicles.”

How to make: Cut a popsicle shape out of paper and decorate it with pipe cleaners, markers or anything else you can find!

Glue items to your popsicle.

Make at least two or three and string them together!

Hang your delicious artwork where everyone can see it!

* Artist tip: You can use nature to decorate! Go on a hike around the yard and collect items to glue to your popsicle.
